In June, we celebrated the groundbreaking of our new production hall in Haßfurt. Together with representatives from GAW Technologies GmbH, the city of Haßfurt, the Riedel Bau Firmengruppe, and our colleagues, we marked this special occasion.
This symbolic act signifies the beginning of an exciting new phase for UNICOR. We are particularly proud that the groundbreaking was conducted by the children of our employees – a powerful symbol of the shared future we are building.
With the construction of our new hall in the Schlettach II development area, just 1000 meters from our headquarters, we are making a strong statement for the region. Our new hall will span 24,300 m² and offer 7,000 m² of production space as well as 1,800 m² of office space. Completion is scheduled for May 2025.
This project will not only allow us to optimize our production processes and reduce internal logistics costs by up to 70% but will also improve working conditions for our employees. Since our founding in 1984, we have grown to become one of the most respected employers in the region, and we look forward to continuing to grow in our new facilities.
