Indirect cooling concept – UNICOOL
The continuously indirectly cooled mold blocks, made of specially hardened steel, allow for the production of a high quality pipe right from the start-up.
Drive unit
By using two synchronised servo motors the mold block pairs can be alligned exactly with each other.
Applications
Conduit systems buried underground
Due to the narrow curve section and the innovative short die technology, even smallest double wall diameters of 20 mm inside dimension can be produced economically.
Electrical conduit
Efficient production of electrical conduits, which are used to protect and route electrical cables in a building or structure, is one of the most common application for the UC 65.
Pre-wired
Pre-wired corrugated conduits, which contain different cabels are time and workforce saving for installation. The cables and wires are unwound and fed from coils during inline pipe production using a special feeding process.
